Reduce dependencies on traditional energy sources

Energy directly from the SUN

Solar power systems derive energy directly from the SUN helping reduce dependency on traditional sources for energy such as fossil fuels; coal, oil & natural gas. At Instaenergy, we support the government of Pakistan’s renewable energy goals for 2025 and endorse the Paris agreement goals.

Propagate the benefits of using Solar Energy.

Become a Brand Ambassador

We invite you to become a Climate Change Brand Ambassador and propagate the benefits of using Solar Energy.

Solar requires no Water!

Traditional energy consumption can typically use thousands of liters of water, each year. We live in one of the most water-stressed parts of the world. Currently, Pakistan is categorized as a water-scarce country with annual water availability of 1,000 cubic meters per person. If it reaches 500 cubic meters, it will become a country that is absolutely scarce of water by 2025.

The operation of solar photovoltaic cells does not require any water to generate electricity, thus reducing the strain on this precious resource. We MUST play our part adapt to renewable energy sources, such as solar energy, to help the water crisis in the world.

Solar helps reduce Carbon Footprint

Carbon footprint is the total greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions caused by an individual, event, organization, service, or product, expressed as carbon dioxide equivalent. Adapting to renewable sources significantly helps you reduce your Carbon Footprint on the environment. Solar energy is a renewable form of energy i.e. so long as the sun exists, we will not run out of sunlight to power our homes, cars, and other possessions. Fossil fuels, on the other hand, are non-renewable resources and limited in availability. Sooner or later these resources will be exhausted by mankind. Solar energy is propagated as environment friendly owing to its low CCS as compared to traditional forms of energy generation. The carbon footprint of solar is 6gCO2e/kWh in contrast to coal CCS (109g)  gas CCS (78g) – where CCS refers to carbon, capture, storage.

Switch to Renewable Energy

Solar Helps to Reduce Air Pollution

The quality of the air we breathe has a direct impact on our health and wellbeing. Breathing substandard quality air adversely impacts our health and has been linked to asthma, allergies, bronchitis, pneumonia, and other respiratory issues. Electricity generation from fossil fuels generates harmful carbon dioxide and methane gases that lower the quality of the air around us. As we have seen smog has become a yearly occurrence in winters resulting in poor air quality. To stop further deterioration of air quality, we must take immediate action. Ministry of Climate Change and Environment Protection Agency has introduced many steps to reduce air pollution. Switching to renewable energy like solar is also a step in the right direction.

Help Slow Climate Change Crisis

The release of toxic gases into the atmosphere, such as carbon dioxide, methane, and nitrous oxide, doesn’t just contribute to air pollution but also contributes to the enhanced greenhouse effect. Due to the excessive use of fossil fuels for energy generation, our world is getting warmer by the day. This enhanced greenhouse effect is linked to a number of catastrophic weather events, such as flooding, cyclones, storms, extreme heat, and drought. Solar panels do not emit any greenhouse gasses at all and if widely adapted can help slow the climate change crisis.
